There's more to just her "downloading" music. People usually don't get in trouble for that, they actually have to upload albums, movies, etc.
You are completely doing something legal, if you are just P2P sharing. That's just like somebody making a back up copy of a cd, and letting you "borrow" it.
If you got in trouble for P2P Sharing, I would've been fined long, long, long time ago.
